10-year-old Pikachu lost her home because she was not getting along with another cat in the home. She was brought to Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter prior to transfer to us.

Francesca (daughter of one of our amazing volunteers, Maria) and Tom met her at our adoption event, Saturday October.26, 2024, at The Bristal Assisted Living and couldn’t get her out of their minds so they came back yesterday with Maria and adopted her!

Pikachu is the 57th cat to find a home through our Seniors for Seniors program which will cover Pikachu’s reasonable medical care (at participating vets).
