Beautiful Pokey has arrived from nycacc!

This incredibly sweet girl was found in a garbage can with a broken pelvis. We have no idea what happened to her.

She is on cage rest for now and may or may not need surgery (thanks to our friends at animalsurgicalcenter for the consult!). She is already able to walk so we are hopeful that cage rest may be sufficient.

In either case, this little Ladewbie is already being pampered and has a wonderful future to look forward to — she already has an adoption in the works.
