Tom (the Red) came to us months ago. The poor boy had been suffering from a condition known as entropion, where his eyelids rolled in towards his corneas, causing constant irritation and discomfort. We sent him for surgery with our friends at Animal Surgical Center and he did great after surgery. Tom was also scratching his face raw, which we thought was in response to the lashes on his corneas, but even after surgery, he continued to do it and we discovered that he also had some pretty bad allergies.
A few months later, with Tom’s allergies under control and his eyelashes no longer a problem, we are happy to announce that this sweetheart of a kitty has gone home on July 6,2024 through our Seniors for Seniors program with one of our amazing camera-shy volunteers. Thank you Heather for not giving up on him!
